Tipperary New Holland dealer M&S Machinery displayed the latest W100D loader on its stand alongside a range of New Holland tractors, skid steers and New Holland construction equipment.

Launched last year, the new 9t W100D model bridges the gap between the upper range of compact wheel loaders and the lower range of full-sized wheel loaders.

The newcomer offers an operating weight of 8,970kg, 50% more than the W80C. Meanwhile its tipping load is 6,500kg (full turn), 66% more than the W80C.

Underneath the bonnet is a 3.6l FPT NEF engine, which produces 112hp. It is married up WITH a two-speed hydrostatic transmission, available in 20km/h and 40km/h variants. Range changes can be made on the fly and either LSD or 100% locking differentials are available.

A new cab has been fitted offering increased room and a larger windscreen. A number of boom automation features are now available, along with an eco-mode and cruise control function.
