Agco, the owners of the Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Valtra tractors and Fella machinery brands is investing €10.5m in expanding its European centre of excellence for forage harvesting at the Fella factory in Feucht, Germany.
The investment brings a new assembly area, which will allow the factory to produce the entire range of mowers, tedders and rakes in Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Fella brand names.
“With the integration of the press and self-loading trailer business from Lely as well as the established forage harvesting machines from Feucht, Agco is now offering a complete and very attractive product range on the market for both our full liner brands, Fendt and Massey Ferguson,” says Dr Rob Smith, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AgocoEME. “By investing in our European centre of excellence for forage harvesting in Feucht, we are laying the foundations for the planned growth over the coming years.”
