Hennessy Auctioneers’ April monthly machinery auction was recently held, where a 2021 JCB Fastrac 4220 with 5,000 hours secured the top sale price of €89,000 plus VAT.
A total of 950 lots were catalogued for both the live auction and following timed auction of unsold items.
The catalogue for the sale comprised a number of special entries, including a selection of modern grass equipment, all of which were sold on the day.
With just shy of 2,000 bidders registered, Hennessy Auctioneers described the sale as very strong, especially for seasonal equipment.
Other tractor highlights included a 2015 Deutz Fahr 5120C, complete with a Quicke, front loader and showing 4,800 hours which sold at €38,000 and a 2005 John Deere 7920 with 13,000 hours that sold at €35,000 plus VAT.

This was followed by a 2022 McHale F5500 round baler with a bale count of 2,115 bales, which sold at €31,250 plus VAT.
A 2017 Doosan DX140 digger with 7,200 hours sold at €26,400 plus VAT, and a John Deere 3650 with 13,559 hours sold at €21,000.

A 2023 Krone Vendro 900 9m tedder sold at €14,250 plus VAT, a 2022 McHale 991 HS wrapper with a bale count of 1,152 bales sold at €12,250 plus VAT and a 2006 Redrock 20ft tandem axle grain trailer sold at €12,200.
Other prices include a 2014 JCB TM 320S which sold at €24,500, a 2006 New Holland TM155 which sold at €25,500 and a 2019 Kverneland 3332MT mower, which sold at €13,250 plus VAT.
