Limerick-based Palatine Engineering Ltd has just taken the wraps off its latest product, the Trac-cessories Pal Attach three-point linkage quick-attach system.

The Pal Attach was originally developed and patented by Palatine’s neighbour OCE (O’Connor Engineering). However, it’s understood OCE ceased production a few years ago to pursue other interests, so both companies came to an arrangement for Palatine to take over production and sales.

The hitching of three point linkage implements with Pal Attach can be done from the cab.
Trac-cessories is a new brand of Palatine Engineering set up to market tractor-based accessories, the first of which is the Pal Attach. The Pal Attach aids hitching of three-point linkage implements on tractors. It can be done from the tractor seat, making the job easier.

The unit is designed to attach to implements built to CAT2 standards and will fit on tractors with CAT2 linkages and most with CAT3. The only other requirement is a double-acting hydraulic service from the tractor to operate the sliding toplink hook. Pal Attach does not require conversion plates on implements, allowing other tractors to use the implements. In total, the implement is pushed 170mm rearwards. The Pal Attach has a retail price of €1,100 including VAT.
