Stormtec, the Irish Polaris distributor displayed its full range of utility vehicles, including its new-to-market Ranger 500.
Launched earlier in the year, the Ranger 500 has been introduced to fill a gap within the manufacturer's range.
The compact side-by-side UTV platform aims to be a budget-friendly solution to bridge the gap between an ATV and full-size UTV.
The manufacturer also says that the price of a Ranger 500 competes head on with cheaper Chinese-built machines.
Key features
The Ranger 500 is equipped with the firm’s own 28hp, 567cc petrol engine, and its own proven belt-driven continuously variable transmission.
Key features include a gas-assisted cargo dump box rated to carry 227kg, while its rated towing capacity is 680kg.
It features on-demand all-wheel-drive and VersaTrac Turf Mode, which unlocks the rear differential to prevent damage to sensitive grass areas.
Irish and UK models come with a protective roof, and a 1,134kg winch as standard.
Being a more budget-friendly solution, options are limited. However, a polycarbonate windshield is available. Pricing starts at €12,000 plus VAT.
