The US tractor market remains under pressure, with October recording a 19.6% (4,199 units) decrease in new tractor registrations in comparison to October last year, according to data provided by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

This takes the cumulative total for the year (until the end of October), to 171,680 units, a decrease of 9.2% (17,424 units) on the 10-month period during 2024.

A total of 2,120 tractors in excess of 100hp were sold during October which is a decrease of 17.3% (343 units) compared to October 2024. Meanwhile, total 4WD tractor sales between January and the end of October sit at 2,216 units, down 42.2% on the period during 2024.
