There was great turnout of vintage tractors and machinery at the 17th Innishannon Steam and Vintage Rally held outside the Co Cork village last weekend.

The tractor collections on their own attracted a huge audience, even if the steam engines dominated the atmosphere with the smell of coal smoke.

The Innishannon committee has been hugely generous in its 17-year support of the Irish Cancer Society. In that time, they have contributed more than €1.2m to this important charity.
