Oliver and Claire Keaskin celebrated 25 years breeding Rouge sheep by holding a timed auction production sale from their Seeorum flock at the end of July.

Top price €1,600 which broke the Irish Rouge female record price went to a gimmer, Seeorum Reilly – sired by Oldwood Alfred and sold to new Rouge breeder Vicky Gregory from Cornwall in the UK. Seeorum Reilly was All-Ireland ewe lamb 2024 and Rouge champion in Dundalk Show in 2025.

Top-priced ewe lamb was Seeorum Superwoman, sired by Crawfordsland Young Gun, which sold for €540 also to Vicky Gregory from Cornwall.

The average price of females came in at €770. Top price male was a ram lamb, Seeorum Scooby Doo, sired by Tullyvallen Warlord, which sold for €1,400 to Kevin Luce from France. Seeorum Scooby Doo was third in the Rouge All-Ireland at Clonmel Show 2025.

Another ram lamb, Seeorum Showman, sired by Oldwood Alfred, sold for €1,200 to Anthony Carter from Millcroft Rouge in Devon, UK. The average price of males in the sale was €1,060. Five sheep were exported to the UK and one to France as part of the sale.
