The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced last October that it had plans to consolidate its various off-highway businesses into one single entity named Yokohama Off-Highway Tyres (YOHT). This included Yokoama’s off-road tyre (OTR) businesses worldwide and the Alliance Tyre Group (ATG). The Yokohama Rubber Co acquired ATG four years ago including the Alliance, Primex and Galaxy brands.

The new single entity, YOHT became effective from 1 January 2021. The firm has since released its new logo and YOHT identity. The ATG website will now be migrated to the new website www.yokohama-oht.com. Similar changes are being done for the apps available on Google and Apple app stores.

The new global entity will offer a full range of off-highway tyres, from small forklift tyres to large radial off-road tyres for construction, agricultural, industrial and forestry machinery. YOHT will be supported by the Yokohama Group’s global off-highway tyre production network which comprises of eight plants in four countries and three research and development facilities in Japan, India and the USA.
