April production of milk solids in New Zealand has dropped in comparison with the previous month, according to the Dairy Company Association of New Zealand.

In April the nation produced 147m kg MS, which is a drop from 174.5m kg MS in March.

However, this an increase for the milk produced in April 2017, where 143.7m kg MS was produced.

Milk production in New Zealand traditonally reduces for the month of April as the dry season approaches.
