The Dealer had anticipated to have seen the launch of an industry-wide Johne’s Disease eradication programme by now, but I’m hearing that a collective agreement cannot be reached.
There is no sense that the programme is on the scrapheap, but I do understand that the likelihood of delivering it is dwindling.
Not wanting to over-egg the Johne’s Disease issue, but The Dealer thinks that to stay competitive in the global dairy market we must at least we rolling out what many of our competitors are already doing.
