Breian Carroll has stepped down as general secretary of the Agricultural Consultants Association (ACA).

He held the post for five years.

Carroll said that having started in a part-time position the role has evolved into a full-time job.

Carroll is managing director of Carroll Consultancy, a consultancy service for farmers.

He plans to spend more time back in this business. I wonder who will replace him?
