The Dealer expects a large attendance at next week’s Bank of Ireland agri seminar at Limerick’s Ballingarry House hotel. Speakers at the National Enterprise Week event on Thursday 13 November include Kerry’s All-Ireland winning manager Éamonn Fitzmaurice, Pat Byrne from Bank of Ireland and Teagasc’s Ger Courtney.
However, what really caught The Dealer’s eye was the inclusion of former Kerry Group boss Denis Brosnan. He will address the issue of “lessons from the past”. Denis Brosnan, who lives in Croom, Co Limerick, does not do many conferences these days, so we expect he will prove a bigger crowd puller than the Sam Maguire cup, which is also listed for attendance.
