Carrigallen Mart has put the call out for staff to operate its canteen which is being renovated and will open in 2027. Open to individuals or businesses, interested parties have until 25 September to express interest.

I notice that proposed menus and price lists are requested in applications and I wonder will boxty or any other local delicacies be on offer.

Mart canteens are a firm favourite of The Dealer and the standard keeps rising all the time so I’m looking forward to the grand opening of this one next year.
