I see farm software firm Farmflo has appointed Dan O’Donoghue as its CEO. Dan is national sales manager at Dairygold co-op and has been a key member of its leadership team since 2005. Before that he held senior roles in Diageo Ireland. The move to bring in experienced management by Farmflo founders Jason and Garreth Deveney is a clear attempt to scale up. From what I’m told, the aim for the Donegal company is to become a global powerhouse in farm profitability and compliance management. Current CEO Jason Deveney remains on the Farmflo board and as head of technology.
