I see that Louise Hogan is leaving Tirlán to take up a big job in Dairygold.

The Tipperary woman has been appointed director of corporate affairs with the Munster-based co-op.

She makes the move in early December and brings over 20 years’ experience to the position.

Up until now, she has held the role of senior corporate and ESG communications manager with Tirlán.

She will be no stranger to farmers, having previously held the role of editor of the Farming Independent.

She has also served on the board of the National Milk Agency.

We wish her well in the role.
