Journal’s Lowry takes over as ASA president

Irish Farmers Journal agribusiness editor Eoin Lowry has taken over as president of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA).

Lowry, who is from a tillage farm in Ratheniska, Co Laois, succeeds Seán Farrell as ASA president. Eoin served as managing director of Target Fertilisers from 2008 to 2013, before joining the Irish Farmers Journal last January.
