The Dealer heard there's a few changes in Teagasc in the south west and all eyes will be on who gets the job as adviser for the Teagasc/Dairygold joint venture now.

I hear there are a few Kerry women on the move to new Teagasc roles in the southwest. Majella Moloney moves to Cork east from her position as regional advisory manager in the Kerry and Limerick region, as John Horgan is retiring.
Her replacement is fellow Kerry native, Nora O’Donovan. In recent years, O’Donovan headed up the Teagasc/Dairygold joint venture. We’ll have to wait and see who assumes that role, as it’s becoming a good proving ground. The previous incumbent, Gráinne Hurley, moved on to become regional manager of Teagasc in Cork west.
