Cork-based React Energy plc was placed into examinership in recent weeks. Previously named as Kedco, the Co Cork firm was started by a group of farmer investors led by William Kingston, Diarmuid Lynch and Donal Buckley. FBD Developments invested in the company soon after start up.
Chair Dermot O’Connell yesterday said he hoped that with court agreement React Energy could exit the examinership process and continue to develop its projects.
“The company has a lot of valuable assets, including permitted waste to energy sites, grid connections and feedstock agreements.”
