Daniel Coyle and Zuidam took last weekend’s Horseware/TRM Premier Series Grand Prix at the South County Dublin show held at Coilóg EC, Co Kildare. This followed victory the day before for the same combination in the National Grand Prix at the same venue.
A field of 20 lined out for the €10,000 Premier class, and the Derry rider had over two seconds to spare on Gerard Clarke (Ardragh Stein), with Vincent Byrne (Hannibal V Overis Z) third. Coyle took a one-two when he and Luidam filled the top spot in the TRM/Horseware National Grand Prix class the day before and also took second on Uptown Girl.

On-form Greg Broderick stormed home with a double-clear in the sixth leg of the Horseware/TRM Premier Series at Tattersalls July Show recently. He took the top spot with the Caledonia Stables-owned MHS Going Global, rounding off a very successful weekend for the Tipperary rider who the day before took the National Grand Prix with Dr Noel Cawley’s ever consistent 10-year-old mare Rincarina (Cruising x Diamond Lad).
The top three riders on the Horseware/TRM Premier Series leader board – Greg, Joan Greene and Eddie Moloney – secured places for the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show.
