A large selection of surplus to requirement machinery from Bord Na Móna’s Blackwater site in Co Offaly is set to be auctioned on Thursday 24 September from 10am. The auction will be managed by Wilsons Auctions.

This Ford 8630 is showing 8,030 hours on the clock and is offered on dual wheels.

The virtual auction will be hosted live online, with the public able to view a live auctioneer while bidding online. Over 200 lots will be up for grabs, including over 90 tractors.

Over 200 lots of surplus machinery are to go under the hammer on September 24.

Some of the tractors set to go under the hammer include a selection of both two- and four-wheel drive Ford, New Holland, Massey Ferguson and Fiats. Other items featured include tyres, dozers, six excavators, cabs, concrete dividers and engineering equipment.

Viewings will take place strictly by appointment only on Thursday 17; Friday 18; Monday 21; and Tuesday 22 September from 10am until 4pm with one-hour times slots.

Groups are limited to one person per viewing and all viewers must wear a face mask.

Live tractor or machinery video walk arounds are available on request for registered bidders. Recorded videos of the machines and tractors running will be available on Wilsons Auctions website for anyone who would like to see them prior to auction.

In total there are over 90 lots of tractors to be sold.

All lots can be viewed online and interested bidders can register through the Wilsons Auctions website. Registration is advised no later than 24 hours before the auction starts.

Six excavators will be for sale on the day.
