Peugeot’s new 308, due in Ireland this December, has been awarded the maximum score of five stars in the latest round of Euro NCAP safety tests.
With individual scores of five stars in all four categories for adult protection, child protection, pedestrian protection and safety assist, new Peugeot 308 has impressive standard safety features.
The new Peugeot 308 also benefits from other driving assistance systems, standard or optional depending on the model, which include active cruise control, collision risk alert, automatic emergency braking, keyless entry and starting, blind spot sensors, reversing camera and, in certain European countries, it comes equipped with Peugeot Connect SOS (emergency call) and Peugeot Connect Assistance services.
The Peugeot i-Cockpit in the new Peugeot 308 also contributes towards the feeling of safety on board, thanks to its small steering wheel, designed for increased driver control, and a head-up instrument panel, ensuring that the driver sees important information at a glance.
Thanks to the ergonomics of the touchscreen, controls and vehicle settings are easy to access and intuitive to use.
The new Peugeot 308 is now available to order with prices starting from €18,990, plus dealer delivery. The car has a five-year warranty offer.
