Going under the hammer at the Ballykisteen Hotel, Tipperary on Tuesday 9 June at 3pm is a 48ac holding with derelict residence on-site.

Offered in three lots, buyers will have the option of bidding on the residence on 7ac, guided at €150,000; a 41ac parcel of adjoining land, guided at €600,000; and the entire, guided at €750,000.

Auctioneer Matthew Ryan expects strong competition for the farm, which has attracted keen interest from farmers and investors both inside and outside of the locality. A nearby 70ac holding caused a stir recently when it sold at auction for €28,500/ac through Sherry FitzGerald Pollard FitzGerald.
