Speaking to agricultural science teachers at Tullamore Farm last Thursday during Agri Aware's farm walk and talk, we learned that numbers taking the subject are dwindling.
Some 350 agricultural science students from 12 schools travelled to Tullamore Farm last Thursday 29 February as part of Agri Aware’s Farm Walk and Talk series.
There is no direct reference to tillage or livestock farming in the 35-page document which sets out the specifications for the proposed subject.
