The morning kicked off with the judging of the young handler class with champion handler going to Ciara Roche, from Foulksmills, Co. Wexford.
Nicky and Wayne Hayes won the first prize bull calf in the Parthenaise class with their Kilmannon Jackson calf which was sired by Oura.
Overall champion went to Paddy Kavanagh, Drumgoold, Enniscorthy with his September 2013 born bull Drumgoold Innis. This bull was sired by Ronchon and was also first prizewinner as a calf in Tullamore Show last year. Kavanagh also won first prize with his heifer calf Drumgoold Julia which was sired by Coquin.

Commercial judging followed with quality entries on display.
Melvin Masterson won first prize with his bullock Rodge. Supreme Champion went to Owen O’Neill, Bagnelstown, Co Carlow with his Belgian Blue heifer calf Sally. The calf also won her class in Clonmel Show last weekend.
Supreme Irish Moiled champion went to Mark McConnell for Gortluchra Bluebell.Supreme dairy champion went to Denis Roche’s Slevoy Biscuit, a jersey maiden heifer.
