Macra na feirme will host an FBD Young Farmer of the Year ‘Springboard to Successful Farming’ workshop from 10am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 29 April in The Heritage Hotel, Killenard, Co. Laois.
This interactive workshop and seminar aims to motivate, inform and stimulate young farmers. Brian Purcell will be facilitator for the workshop.
Sean O’Brien, Ireland Rugby Player, will speak about his story and the need for professionalism. There will be discussions with the six FBD Young Farmers of the Year.

Tim O’Leary, vice president of the IFA, will chair a panel with Rowena Dwyer (IFA) and Zoe Kavanagh (National Dairy Council).
The workshop is being held by Macra na Feirme, FBD, IFA and Farm Business Skillnet.
