The 11th sale of the 2016/2017 season and first sale of 2017 held by British Wool Marketing Board saw average wool prices ease 3p/kg to £1.06/kg (€1.22/kg). The clearance rate of 2.2m kg offered was 60%, reducing from 69% for a similar offering in the last sale of 2016.
