Callum continues his reign of terror over Kylie, which culminates on Christmas Day when he breaks into the house and presents Max with a brand new bike. As Kylie stands her ground and asks him to leave, he presents her with a bag of speed and she weakens. David and the rest of the family find the pair in the kitchen and are shocked when Callum announces who he is. Is there any hope for Kylie and David?

It’s Christmas week in Albert Square, which means lots of secrets are about to come to light, mostly at The Vic as the Carters sit down for their first family meal with Slyvie. After making her peace with what happened with Dean, Linda is rattled when he appears at the pub drunk. Once the first secret is revealed, they just keep coming. One things is clear: the Carters will never be the same again.

Elsewhere, Ian and Jane rekindle their romance and Jane admits she knows more about the night Lucy died than she’s letting on. As Max starts to question why Emma is so interested in Lauren, Jane tries to clear things up, but only makes it worse. Is everyone telling the truth?

The day of Andy and Katie’s wedding dawns and looks set to go off without a hitch once a hungover Bernice has been removed from the church. However, Robert looks set to once again break up the happy couple and the day ends with Katie making threats she looks sure to carry out. But does the wedding actually take place?

Elsewhere, Cain is back from France without his car and it’s clear something has rattled him. As he continues to side with Charity against Moira, the pair fall out about his constant bad mood.

Despite Michael’s best intentions to make their first Christmas together a happy one, Niamh is missing her family. As she leaves the kids on Christmas Day, Niamh struggles to fight back the tears when she reads Ruth’s card.

Elsewhere, after lying to everyone so he can spend Christmas alone, Charlie meets the Fahys in the park and they lift his spirits.

After narrowly avoiding a Christmas dinner date with the entire O’Direán family, Eoin smugly moves forward with his plans and swaps Jason’s medication. Evan thinks he may be about to experience a Christmas miracle when Niamh calls him over to talk, only to be left feeling empty when she reveals that she no longer wants anything to do with him and his controlling ways. Evan has lost the love of his life.
