A total of 10 sheep have been killed in Eredine and Glen Orchy forests as the Forestry Commission continue their cull in the Argyll Woods. None of the sheep were tagged or marked and all had not been shorn for a number of years.
Damage
The Forestry Commission is planning to cull 120 feral sheep who they claim are causing serious damage to trees and pose a biosecurity risk.

Local farmers were written to earlier in the year to ask them to gather any of their sheep in the woods.
A neighbouring farmer recently removed 24 sheep and has identified a further 11 as being hers.
