Visitors can also hear about sheep handling and wool, while a Teagasc sheep specialist will discuss issues facing Irish sheep farming.
Farm safety and mental health will also be discussed, with George Graham, Peter Gohery and Brian Rohan from Embrace FARM sharing their personal experiences.
The Irish Farmers Journal will also feature in the tent, with a discussion from Darren Carty on the outlook for the sheep sector, while wool-spinning demonstrations and talks on wool will be held throughout all three days.
There will also be an opportunity for younger visitors to get involved and try their hand at shearing on stage.
With the All-Ireland lamb shearing title up for grabs and demonstrations and discussions running on either side of the competition, the shearing tent promises an action packed programme across the three days.
