Three Co Longford farms of 44ac, 31ac and 56ac are going for auction in the coming weeks. The 56ac holding comes with a traditional cottage and some outhouses.

All three holdings are being sold by Murtagh Bros in online auctions on the LSL platform.

The 44ac farm at Culloge.

First to be sold will be 44ac at Culloge, which is approximately 4km from Edgeworthstown. The land has road frontage on the R395 Castlepollard road.

The land is in one block, is in permanent pasture and is well sheltered. It goes for auction on Thursday 28 April at 3pm and the guide price is €300,000.

On Friday 29 April at 3pm, the firm will auction 32ac plus a derelict cottage at Whiterock, Longford. The land is in two parcels, with frontage on both the L1071 and L5143, just 500m off the N4 Dublin to Sligo road.

The land is well fenced, in permanent pasture and needs some reclamation. The guide price is €225,000.

The holding at Derrymacar will be offered in three lots, plus the entire.

The third property, 56ac with a cottage at Derrymacar, Newtowncashel, is guided at €450,000. It goes for auction on 5 May at 3pm. The holding is described as excellent fattening land.

The property will be offered in lots. Lot 1 will be the cottage on 17ac. Lot 2 will be 30.5ac. Lot 3 will be 8.5ac. Lot 4 will be the entire.
