Massey Ferguson 6270 was stolen from a farmer on the night of Thursday 11 May into Friday 12 May last. The tractor was taken from the Deverney Road area of Omagh.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said it seeking assistance from anyone who might have seen the tractor during that period of time.

PSNI Constable Adam Gilpin outlined further details regarding the theft.

“It’s thought it was taken sometime between 10.30pm on Thursday, May 11th, and 8am the following morning (May 12th). If you think you can help us with our enquiries please call the 101 number quoting reference number 305 of 12.5.17. Alternatively information can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”

A second-hand 6270 can trade anywhere between £12,000 (€13,985) and £20,000 (€23,308).
