Trevor Dixon hails from Co Antrim and has been making music for many years.

Over five decades down the road, Trevor still loves his music as much as ever. The man who loves to play the saxophone and sing traditional country has many friends in the music business, especially throughout the Ulster region.

From great days at the Auld Lammas Fair, to stages across the Province, Trevor loves to see people enjoying themselves wherever the music takes him. Trevor recently released a new album featuring some of his friends from the country scene.

The 23-track album is a collection of some old favourites and lesser-known songs. Among the artists with guest tracks on the album are Gene Stuart and Billy McFarland.

“This is volume three in the series. It features a collection of my own songs from over the years and those of my friends in country music,” says Trevor.

“It contains a lovely blend of material and I am very thankful to all the artists who have come on board.”

Down the Dixie Road is one of the standout tracks on the album. Trevor sings it in a true traditional country style, making it his own. It’s good to see Trevor still doing the business in style after all these years.
