Work is well under way for Tullamore Show and this year marks a new chapter as FBD Insurance has being confirmed as the title sponsor of the event.
As it enters its 27th year, the event, which will now be called the Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show, has become the largest one-day agricultural event in the country.
On Sunday 12 August the Butterfield estate will once again play host to the show, which this year boasts a prize fund in excess of €176,000.

At the launch of the show, John Cahalan, FBD Insurance chief commercial officer, said: “FBD Insurance has been supporting farmers for 50 years and is proud to be involved with the National Livestock Show.” Brenda Kiernan, chair of the Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show, said: “The Tullamore Show is proud to welcome FBD Insurance as the title sponsor of the very prestigious National Livestock Show.
