Auctioneer David Keane said that farmland in this area is making €12,000/ac. The guide price for the forestry land is €4,000/ac.
The second farm is 46.2ac at Churchtown South, Cloyne. This is also an executor sale and it can be sold in one or more lots.
The holding extends into the village of Churchtown South. It is also a short distance from Ballycotton, Cloyne and Midleton and it is close to a number of beaches.
The land is described as top quality and suitable for all types of farming. It has road frontage. The house is a four-bedroom bungalow which is in very good condition. The farm has a large yard with a number of sheds.
David Keane said he is now taking offers of €13,000/ac for this farm and he expects it to make approximately €15,000/ac.
