Yvonne Farrell is to leave her role in Crop Protection in Monsanto Ireland to become product manager for Brassica and Leafy vegetable seeds in the EMEA countries.
Monsanto’s well-known and amicable representative in Ireland, Yvonne Farrell, is to change jobs within the Monsanto organisation.
Yvonne started with Monsanto at the same time as Latitude, in 1999, and her first project involved the marketing and sale of Latitude here. Since then, she has been the sales manager for Ireland for crop protection, based in Dunshaughlin, reporting to Patrick O’Reilly.
Her new role is product manager for Brassica and Leafy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the EMEA countries). Three separate divisions operate within Monsanto and each works independently. These are: crop protection; seed and traits; and vegetables (which covers tomatoes, peppers, Brassica, etc).

Yvonne will no longer be responsible for oilseed rape varieties in her new role and she will now report to Bregschenhoek in the Netherlands, where the business has its European HQ.
She will take up this role next year. However, she will still be based in Ireland. We wish her luck.
