An 110ac farm at Kiltullagh, Glenamaddy, Co Galway, has sold for €735,000 or €6,682/ac. Located midway between Kilkerrin and Glenamaddy in north Galway, the farm is all in one division.

Sole selling agent Martin Tyrell, Tuam, said that it is “one of the very best farms to have come on the market in the north Galway region in recent years.”

He added that there were four interested parties and bidding started at €500,000 in the private treaty sale. “The bidding progressed steadily from there to €735,000,” Martin said. It was purchased by a solicitor from Maguire and Brennan solicitors, Claremorris, who was acting in trust.
