Heavy rain in the east of the country is to continue through to this evening, with Met Éireann issuing a yellow rainfall warning.
The warning is for counties Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Westmeath and Meath. There will be rainfall totals of 20mm to 30mm in places, leading to some spot flooding.
