Coonan Property successfully auctioned a farmhouse and 42.2ac at Tirmoghan, Kilcock, Co Kildare.

The farm was offered to the room in three lots. The first lot, consisting of the derelict residence and yard on 2.4ac, opened at €160,000 and proceeded in increments of €10,000 to €300,000.

Lot 2, the balance of the land, opened at €350,000 and was bid up to €460,000.

When the entire was offered it was clear that it would not match the total bid for the separate lots, so Lots 1 and 2 were put on the market. Lot 1 was sold at €300,000 and after final bids between two individuals, Lot 2 was sold at €465,000. The total was €765,000.

Murtagh Bros sold a property at Fulmort, Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath, at auction. It consisted of a traditional farmhouse on c26ac of pasture land close to Multyfarnham Village.

A number of bidders took part and the farm went on the market at €390,000 and was sold at €410,000.

This house was on the 44.5ac farm at Granard that was sold by Thomas Potterton.

REA TE Potterton sold a 44.5ac farm at Granard, Co Longford. The farm was first offered in lots with €80,000 bid for the house standing on c0.5ac.

However, there was greater interest in the entire, which was eventually sold under the hammer for €450,000.

Thomas Potterton also sold 17ac at Clonyn, Delvin, Co Westmeath, at auction. It sold under the hammer for €196,000.
