Stock markets in Europe and the US remain volatile due to uncertainties around Brexit and rising interest rates in the US.
Shares in Ireland’s listed agribusiness plcs have not been immune to the recent market volatility, with prices moving in all directions over the last week.
Shares in Kerry Group, Glanbia and Aryzta are all down over the last week. Kerry Group shares dropped 2% in the week to €91.80, while Glanbia shares are down 2.5% this week at €16.

Aryzta
Shares in speciality bakery group Aryzta remain the most volatile of all with prices plunging 8% this week to €1.08. Last week, shares in Aryzta had rallied more than 15% but have now given back most of those gains.
In contrast, shares in Donegal Investment Group and Greencore posted gains this week. Donegal shares are up almost 5% in the week to €8.90, while shares in Greencore are up close to 3% at £1.92.
On oil markets, the price of Brent crude oil has been relatively steady this week and is currently trading at $61.18/barrel.
