Balmoral now four days

Balmoral Show will this year run for four days instead of three from Wednesday,10th of May to Saturday, 13th of May. This has brought about a number of changes in the schedule with most of the children classes now running on the final day.

Charity events

All are welcome to take part in the Charity Chase & Hack at Baunmore, Claregalway, County Galway, on St Patrick’s Day. The ride will leave Murphy’s Commericals at 12 noon and all enquiries to 087 770 7681.

Meanwhile, the County Clare Hunt will be hosting a Charity Ride on 26th of March from Quin Village, starting at 12.30pm in aid of Clare Suicide Bereavement Support.

Agri-Careers exhibition

IF you are looking for a career in the equine industry, go along to the RDS on Thursday, 30th of March for The Irish Farmers Journal Agri Careers Exhibition.

Leo Powell, editor of our sister paper, The Irish Field, will chair the equine session the panel for which includes Tipperary international show jumper Greg Broderick, Clodagh Kavanagh of Darley Flying Start and Patrick Ryan of Horse Racing Ireland’s Careers and Racing Education Department.
