The Irish Farmers Journal, in association with MSD Animal Health, XL Vets and Munster Bovine, will hold two mart demonstration events next week in Ballinasloe Mart in Co Galway (H53 YT53) and Castleisland Mart in Co Kerry (Y92 Y799). The theme of the event is achieving targets with healthy animals this autumn.
Both nights will include a presentation from Darren Carty on schemes and supports available to drystock farmers.
There will also be an animal health discussion and vaccination update from Conor Geraghty (Farmgate Veterinary, Galway) and John Quill (Castle Veterinary, Castleisland). Both events will end with a live suckler cattle demonstration with Rose Goulding, beef programme manager, NCBC.

Admission is free and everybody is welcome to attend the demonstrations.
