About 2,000 bulls will be loaded for Libya next Wednesday by Curzon Livestock.

The firm has the full consignment purchased at this stage. This will be Curzon’s fourth contract with Libya in 2020 and the firm is hopeful of further orders.

To date this year, 5,647 bulls have been exported from Ireland to Libya, 4,304 of them dairy-type and 1,343 beef-bred.

Next week’s delivery will bring the total to over 7,000 head.
