Curzon Livestock will fill a boatload of bulls later this month for shipment to Libya.
The export firm is now booking in suitable stock to complete the contract.
It wants Friesian bulls in the range of 250kg to 400kg and continental type bulls in the weight range of 450kg to 600kg. Farmers with suitable cattle are asked to call Curzon on 021-489 7881.

So far this year 5,647 cattle have been exported from Ireland to Libya, up from 4,211 head for the same period in 2019. Total exports to Libya in 2019 reached 13,122.
Curzon is hopeful of further securing contracts for exports to Libya over the coming months.
