Buying of weanlings for export to Turkey is now winding down for 2016. Livestock export company Viastar is expected to fill two more boatloads in December, as animals complete their 21-day quarantine period in approved holding centres.
The Brahman Express is currently in the Mediterranean on route to Turkey and scheduled to arrive on Sunday 4 December. Meanwhile, the Express 1 is on route with a shipment of bulls to Libya, arriving on Friday 9 December.
