A Tipperary farmer is appealing for information after two of his heifers were stolen from the Templetuohy area near Thurles last week.

The two heifers, a Limousin and a Charolais, both of which are around two years old and weigh around 500kg, were stolen on Friday last between 4am and 6am.

On Monday, seven Angus heifers were also taken from a neighbouring farm.

If anyone in the area has seen the cattle, they are asked to contact the farmer, Thomas Lanigan, on 086-304 1419.
