This is stating the obvious but it gives a comprehensive breakdown, from a great timetable of deadlines and key dates to everything you need to know about your application. You should visit this regularly and ensure you are up to date.

This is a great website for those uncertain about what they wish to do in college. It provides news on information evenings and open days in colleges. It also give a fantastic breakdown of courses across the country as well as info on applying for PLC courses.

www.gradireland.com

This lets students look at the job opportunities available. It also directs them to third-level institutions’ websites, giving them an idea as to whether the college will suit them.

www.careersportal.ie

This is great for mature and Leaving Cert students. It provides a platform for career guidance and can direct you to the relevant professionals. This website is varied. As well as containing an individual tab for school leavers, they also facilitate job seekers, graduate and adult learners, as well as providing advice to parents whose children have exams.
