Maynooth- and Celbridge-based auctioneer REA Coonan is handling the sale of a compact 32-acre holding at Crinstown, Maynooth, Co Kildare. The farm is all in one block and laid out in two principal divisions.
According to selling agent Philip Byrne of REA Coonan, the land is of excellent quality and currently under grass, with a large part of the farm recently reseeded. On one side, the land is bounded by the M4 motorway while frontage on to a secondary road provides site potential.
The farm is bounded all the way about by mature hedging, providing excellent shelter for stock. For sale by public auction on Thursday 6 October at 3pm at the Glenroyal Hotel Maynooth, REA Coonan is guiding the farm at €10,000 per acre.

Byrne said there has been good interest in the lands at Crinstown so far. While the land is likely to generate primarily farming interest, Byrne believes a buyer eyeing the longer-term potential of the land may by a factor given its close proximity to the hinterlands of Maynooth.
