John Deere has approved 30 different sizes of continental tyres on its 6MC, 6RC, 6M and 6R mid-sized tractor models. This deal comes of the back of an audit of the Portuguese Continental plant and reinforces the brands re-entry to the market having spent some time out of the agricultural sector.
The tyres offered are the Tractor70 and Tractor85 radials, having been designed and manufactured for both comfort, traction and soil preservation the firm claims. They feature a new bead design and N.flex technology, with a more pliable nylon carcase allowing for lower operating ground pressures and reduced soil compaction. In addition to this, the tyres have a single wire core and a shortened bead apex leaving fitment quicker and easier.
