Native Irish Droimeann cattle are experiencing something of a renaissance, with a key role in the 34ac Fernhill Park in Co Dublin.
On Monday 18 November, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown (DLR) County Council is holding an event in association with the Droimeann Cattle Society in Marlay Park House to highlight the integral role Droimeann cattle play in conservation grazing.

Speakers will include DLR biodiversity officer Anne Murray, Stephen Hayden from the City Farm Ballymun Project and Tom Keane from the Driomeann Society along with a number of others.
If anyone wishes to go up to Fernhill please note there is no parking or car access so car sharing is advisable and locations to park in the general vicinity are limited.
